of Hawaii and specialize in rare and endangered species of Macaws, Cockatoos and
Parrots.
Chicks are raised by their parents for at least one month. After
pulling from the nest, chicks are hand-fed by Pat or Butch alone, and are
housed in our well equipped nursery.

Brooders are cleaned several times a day and chicks are played with and socialized on a daily basis, after every feeding and during brooder cleanings. As the chicks grow older, more interaction with them is required so that they know what it is to be loved by their human mom and dad.
All of our birds are screened for health problems if they show signs of stress or behavioral clues are present. We offer a Free Healthy Baby Check to our clients when they purchase a baby bird from us. Further tests are done only on request. We also offer DNA sexing and micro-chipping of chicks on request. All birds are guaranteed to be healthy. Money back or exchange for another healthy bird of the same value is done if verification in writing from an avian vet shows that the bird has a serious disease and should be returned.
